  • Provide services you request, including document handling and filings.
  • Operate, maintain, and secure the platform and your account.
  • Communicate about updates, support, billing, and service changes.
  • Improve features, analytics, and user experience.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

Sharing

  • Vendors and processors that help us operate (cloud hosting, analytics, communications), bound by confidentiality and data-processing terms.
  • Professional partners (e.g., tax authorities, banks) when needed to deliver requested services or comply with law.
  • Compliance and legal requests when required by applicable law or to protect users.
  • Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or reorganization.

Text messaging (SMS)

Mirai Tax LLC does not share mobile numbers, text messaging originator opt-in data, or consent with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information may be shared only with subcontractors and service providers that support the delivery of SMS services, such as messaging platforms, telecommunications providers, or customer support vendors. This information is used solely to provide and operate the messaging service.

All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties.

Security & retention

  • Encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging where applicable.
  • Retention aligned to legal, tax, and accounting obligations, then secure deletion.
  • You can request deletion of your account where permitted by law.

Your choices

  • Update profile information in your account or by contacting support.
  • Opt out of marketing emails via unsubscribe links (transactional emails may remain).
  • Request access, correction, or deletion consistent with applicable law.
